Medical Director
Dr. Batac graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Accelerated and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Thomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Manila, Philippines. While in the Philippines she volunteered in medical and surgical missions that provided free medical care for indigent families.
While a resident teacher at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside, she received the “Exceptional Resident Teacher Award” two years in a row. Dr. Batac is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. She sees patients at both our New Kensington and Greensburg clinics.
When not at work she enjoys cooking, travel, movies, photography, cross-stitching, and jewelry making.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Bagnarello received his medical degree from the University of Costa Rica Medical School and is accredited by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His experience includes 34 years in private practice in Internal Medicine and Primary Care.
Dr. Bagnarello was a Fellow in Infectious Diseases at Hahnemann Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic, as well as serving a rotation as Chief of ER at Hospital Mexico in Costa Rica. He was also an intern at the Boston Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Bagnarello is certified to provide DOT physicals and Immigration Exams. He practices at our Vandergrift clinic.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Bagnarello enjoys watching politics and soccer.
Family Medicine
Ms. Vermeulen received her Bachelor of Science Nursing degree and Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarion University. Her academic honors and awards include the Sigma Theta Tau Research Award and membership in the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and a GPA of 4.0.
Before obtaining her CRNP degree, Ms. Vermeulen had more than 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She provides services at both our New Kensington and Vandergrift clinics.
When not practicing medicine, she likes traveling, baking, fishing, and mushroom hunting.
Family Medicine
Dawn M. Seich, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience across hospital, surgical, and primary care settings. She provides comprehensive family-focused care, including annual Medicare wellness visits, acute and follow-up care, and management of diagnostic testing and medications. Dawn also has extensive experience as a hospitalist CRNP, having served in nocturnist roles within large health system settings, where she delivered comprehensive inpatient care and collaborated closely with interdisciplinary teams. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her clinical background includes operating room nursing, medical-surgical care, home health assessments, and clinical research. In her free time, Dawn enjoys coaching her son in recreational soccer and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins.
