Ma. Charmaine R. Batac, MD
Dr. Batac graduated cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology Accelerated, and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Thomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Manila, Philippines. While in the Philippines she volunteered in medical and surgical missions that provided free medical care for indigent families.
While a resident teacher at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Shadyside she received the “Exceptional Resident Teacher Award” two years in a row. Dr. Batac is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. She sees patients at both our New Kensington and Greensburg clinics.
When not at work she enjoys cooking, travel, movies, photography, cross-stitching, and jewelry making.
